PeacockAlso discovered in bristol! Rachel Bright is an illustrator aswell as a childs novelist and poet.  But what I interested in is her illustration! Shes been an illustrator for over 10 years and has designed and art directed for the likes of Smythson of Bond St, Usborne Publishing, ThirtyThree and Richmond County Council and turned her hand to many illustration commissions, the most recent of which were for Bristol Design Guild and Charnwood. I really like her illustration they are very child like in a sophisticated way. It has a kind of innocents about it that i love! On her website it explains ‘Her work aims to capture a free way of thinking – one which makes you feel anything is possible – a feeling all too easily lost with the end of childhood. When we’re all grown-up, sometimes we just need a little nudge to remember it’s been there all along.’
