Cobalt Cafe

Cobalt Cafe is Zarina Liew a freelance comic designer and illustrator. Using a mixture of pencils, Dr PH Martin’s Inks, watercolours and occasionally Photoshop, her work draws inspiration from early 19th century “Gift Book” artists, Japanese printmaking and fashion. She has illustrated for a variety of private and editorial clients including The Times Educational SupplementBBC WorldwideSecretarialblog.co.uk,Who’s Jack MagazineInstinct Studios andDIGJEST.COM. She is also the lead illustrator and travelling artist for the indie small-press record labelTrack Fed Morphine.

I really like her style is very different and flowing. All her work is very interesting to look at and admire very inspiring. Her website is: http://www.cobaltcafe.co.uk/ and she also has a blog here on wordpress which i have added to my blog roll if anyone wants to look at that.
